What happens to information
Privacy Policy
This policy explains the categories of information TR3NDR handles, why we handle them, when they may be disclosed, and the controls available to you.
1. Scope and roles
This policy applies when TR3NDR determines why and how information is processed through our websites, applications, and related services. It does not govern third-party sites, services, or independent copies of public content that TR3NDR does not control.
2. Information we collect
Information you provide
- Account information: username, public handle, recovery email, account status, and information needed to create, verify, secure, recover, or manage your account.
- Profile and content: display name, biography, profile media, cosmetics, badges, posts, replies, reshares, images, videos, hashtags, mentions, and direct messages.
- Settings and choices: appearance and accessibility preferences, notification choices, interaction audiences, muted words, blocked or silenced profiles, and other safety preferences.
- Communications: information you provide when you contact us for support, report a problem, or send feedback.
Information created through use
- Social activity: follows, views, likes, replies, reshares, mentions, message activity, read status, archives, and reversals of those actions.
- Influence and collection activity: Influence Point events and balances, transfers, spending, refunds, leaderboard position, records, Signal Cache openings and prices, cosmetic drops, duplicates, collections, loadouts, rarity, and badges.
- Recommendations: signals such as recency, time spent with content, likes, replies, follows, reshares, muted subjects, and “see less” choices used to organize feeds and suggestions.
- Security and service information: login, verification, account-recovery, 2FA, and session activity; approximate device, browser, and network information; and diagnostic or error information needed to protect and operate the service.
Information from others
We may receive information about you when another person follows, mentions, replies to, messages, reports, or otherwise interacts with you or your content. Service providers may also return information needed to complete account communications, verify access, prevent abuse, or maintain the service.
3. How we use information
- create, verify, authenticate, recover, secure, deactivate, reactivate, and erase accounts;
- provide profiles, content, media, feeds, messages, notifications, settings, and other requested features;
- calculate qualifying interactions, Influence Points, costs, refunds, rankings, trends, and records;
- operate Signal Caches, display rarity odds, maintain collections and loadouts, award badges, and announce qualifying rare drops;
- personalize and organize feeds, discovery results, and profile suggestions;
- apply interaction, blocking, silencing, muted-word, and notification choices;
- prevent spam, fraud, manipulation, unauthorized access, and other abuse;
- debug, maintain, measure reliability, and improve the service;
- enforce our Terms, protect people and the service, and comply with legal obligations; and
- establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
4. When information is disclosed
We disclose information only when needed to provide the service, when you direct us to, when necessary to protect people or TR3NDR, or when law permits or requires it. Recipients may include:
- Service providers that help us operate, secure, maintain, and communicate through TR3NDR.
- Other users and the public when you publish public content or use a feature designed to share information.
- Professional advisers and transaction participants where reasonably necessary for legal, financial, insurance, corporate, or compliance purposes.
- Authorities or other parties when reasonably necessary to comply with valid legal process, address an emergency, investigate abuse, enforce agreements, or protect rights, safety, and property.
If TR3NDR is involved in a merger, financing, reorganization, sale, or transfer, information may be evaluated or transferred subject to appropriate confidentiality and applicable law.
5. Public and private information
Your public handle, profile name, biography, profile presentation, public posts, public interactions, Influence Points, leaderboard position, badges, and qualifying cosmetic unlocks may be visible to other people. People may copy or share information that you make public.
Your login username, recovery email, password, authenticator information, recovery codes, private messages, and session details are not intended to appear as public profile information. Your audience and interaction settings can further limit how other people contact or interact with you.
6. Advertising, sale, and cross-site tracking
TR3NDR does not currently sell personal information, share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, or use it to serve third-party behavioral advertisements. We do not intentionally use third-party analytics cookies to follow people across unrelated websites.
Because those practices are not currently active, TR3NDR does not interpret browser “Do Not Track” signals as changing service behavior. Where a legally recognized opt-out signal applies to a future practice, TR3NDR will respond as required before enabling that practice.
7. Retention and deletion
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including providing and securing the service, resolving disputes, enforcing agreements, and meeting legal obligations. Retention depends on the information’s purpose, sensitivity, security risk, and applicable requirements.
When you delete eligible content, it is removed from active display. When you permanently erase your account, TR3NDR removes the account and associated information and releases the handle, subject to limited exceptions. Some information may remain temporarily in backups or be retained when reasonably necessary for safety, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, legal compliance, or completing the deletion process. Copies independently made by other people are outside TR3NDR’s control.
Deactivation hides your account, profile, and content and stops new Influence Point earnings while preserving your handle and account information. Logging in again reactivates the account.
8. Your choices and controls
- Update profile fields, cosmetics, appearance, accessibility, and notification preferences.
- Choose who may mention you, reply to you, begin a conversation, or reshare your content.
- Mute words, silence profiles, block profiles, and manage notifications.
- Delete or reverse eligible posts, replies, reshares, likes, follows, and messages, subject to disclosed Influence Point effects and preservation requirements.
- Review sessions, sign out individual or other sessions, manage two-factor authentication, save recovery codes, and control available recovery options.
- Deactivate your account temporarily or request permanent erasure using the available account controls.
- Use browser controls to manage cookies and site data, understanding that this may sign you out or reset device-specific preferences.
Some privacy rights depend on where you live and whether a law applies to TR3NDR. Nothing in this policy limits rights that cannot legally be limited.
9. Security
TR3NDR uses administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. Available account controls may include recovery-email verification, session management, two-factor authentication, recovery codes, recognized-device controls, and protections against compromised credentials or abusive requests.
No online service can promise absolute security. You can reduce risk by using a unique password, protecting your recovery email and device, saving recovery codes securely, enabling two-factor authentication, reviewing active sessions, and signing out of shared devices.
10. Adults only
TR3NDR is not intended for anyone under 18, and people under 18 are not permitted to create an account or use the service. If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 18, we may restrict or remove it and take appropriate steps regarding the associated information.
11. Processing locations
TR3NDR and service providers acting for us may process information in the United States and other locations where they operate. Privacy and data-protection rules may differ across those locations. We use safeguards appropriate to the service and applicable obligations.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes in the service, our practices, or law. We will update the date above and provide additional notice when required by law or appropriate to a material change.
